Q: How long do you play?
A: I usually play for 30 minutes, although we can discuss a different length of time depending on the age of the child(ren) and the particular event. |
Q: How much do you charge?
A: I charge $250 for 30 minutes.
I also charge $50 for each 1/2 hour of travel time (one-way). |
Q: Can you tell me about what you do?
A: It depends on the age of the children and their mood on that day. The goal is to be as interactive as possible. I typically start with a few sitting down songs, so the children can get used to me. Then we will stand up and sing and dance for the rest of the time. I like to do some games like "Limbo" and "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" if the kids are in the mood. For younger children (under 2), we may spend the entire time sitting, singing songs like "Wheels on the Bus" and "Happy and You Know It". |
Q: Do you accept checks?
A: I prefer cash, but will accept cash or check. |
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: I do not require an advance deposit. |
Q: When should I schedule you during the party?
A: It usually works very well if you schedule my performance for 30 minutes after the beginning of the party. This gives everyone time to be "fashionably late" and settle in and then they are ready for something to do. I have played at all different times during the party, and anytime is fine with me, but this seems to work the best. |
Q: Is tipping required?
A: Many people will tip and it is appreciated, but it is not expected or required. |
